Planview Man Killed in Car Crash

first_imgSign up for our COVID-19 newsletter to stay up-to-date on the latest coronavirus news throughout New York A 50-year-old Plainview man was killed when he crashed his car in Melville on Tuesday night.Suffolk County police said Eric Schneider was driving a Nissan Maxima westbound on Old Country Road when he drove over a median and struck a guardrail near the corner of Old East Neck Road at 7:05 p.m.The victim was taken to to Plainview Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.Second Squad detectives impounded the car, are continuing the investigation and believe Schneider may have experienced a medical emergency prior to the crash.last_img read more
