For the third show of their run, the band welcomed fellow Lettuce/Soulive guitarist Eric Krasno, who delivered his great guitar work and vocals, to the entire set. Warren Haynes also joined in on the fun, for a “Deal” closer, just minutes before his Gov’t Mule took the same stage. The set opened with a “Shakedown Street” > “Dear Prudence” medley, before taking “Me and My Uncle” by storm. The “Cassidy” > “Playing In The Band” found Krasno on vocals, and brought a refreshing drizzle of rain from the sky, as if the universe had rehearsed such timing perfectly. An energy-shifting “Scarlet Begonias” brought fans’ arms to the sky for the traditional chants before the sunlight returned for “Stella Blue” and “Uncle John’s Band.” Warren Haynes joined in for “Deal” and the set concluded, before Gov’t Mule took the stage for a sunset performance. Watch Krasno take lead vocals on “Playing In The Band” courtesy of WardenJune:“Shakedown Street”“Deal” with Warren Haynes, courtesy of michael kramer:Thanks to taper Butch Almberg,  you can stream the full audio here: Also from Wanee, you can watch videos and stream the audio from these very special performances: Gov’t Mule with Jack Pearson, Joel Cummins with Kung Fu, Warren Haynes with Les Brers, Umphrey’s McGee’s mash-up set, Karl Denson with Melvin Seals & JGB, and Warren Haynes sit-in with Widespread Panic for ZZ Top covers.
