Next, they face Afghanistan on Saturday, who have still not tasted a victory in their 5 matches so far. However, veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh said that though India would rather be watchful than being complacent when they take on minnows Afghanistan at Rose Bowl Cricket Ground, Southampton on Saturday."You have to play at your best no matter who is playing in front of you. It cannot happen that you just put 70 percent effort but give 100 percent against Australia. Any international match you play you have to give 100 percent. They will go all out against India. India won't relax in any conditions, in any match because they want to win every game. Knowing virat kohli they won't be comfortable with the team not putting in a 100 percent," Harbhajan Singh told India Today.Afghanistan have a great spin attack in the side in the form of Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman, but the trio has not been able to do wonders for the team so far.Rashid Khan in particular has not had a good World Cup thus far.Rashid Khan, who had become the youngest No.1 in the ICC's rankings for ODI bowlers, bowled the most expensive spell in World Cup history at Old Trafford on Tuesday.advertisementThe Afghanistan leg-spinner leaked 110 runs off 9 overs as England amassed 397 for 6 off their 50 overs. In defence of the Rashid Khan, Harbhajan Singh said the leggie has the talent to petrify opposition batsmen but he will have to work a little harder for that."Rashid has got all the qualities to be a top bowler. He has got a brilliant googly and variations but he just doesn't seem happy. He needs to learn a little better than what he is being doing in 20-20 cricket. People go after him in that format but in 50-over cricket batsmen have a lot of time against him. England went after him and succeeded but not many teams will go after him."India on Saturday might look to go with a changed batting unit by playing young Rishabh Pant in the middle-order for Vijay Shankar. The wicket-keeper-batsman joined Indian side in replacement for injured Shikhar Dhawan.Though, Harbhajan Singh felt the team would play the same playing XI that they used against Pakistan in their last game."I dont see any changes in the batting lineup. They dont want to make unnecessary changes. I would like to see someone like Hardik Pandya and MS Dhoni batting for a long time and spend more time in the middle."India are currently placed 4th on the points table with 3 wins from 4 games , including a washed out game against New Zealand. Also Read | World Cup 2019: Rashid Khan urges Afghanistan not to repeat mistakes vs IndiaAlso Read | India vs Afghanistan World Cup 2019: Why Rashid Khan, Nabi and Mujeeb face stern test vs IndiaAlso SeeFor sports news, updates, live scores and cricket fixtures, log on to indiatoday.in/sports.
